Both symbolic and visceral, Lies and Light is about the shattering of untruths and barriers. The lights, used across the Blindness collection to symbolize complacency and artificiality, are fanned out on the floor of the space. As Martin smashes through each light, kneeling in the broken glass of the previous one, he embodies the difficult and satisfying journey towards truth.
